The Truth Becomes Occult
When we talk about what it means to be “awake,” one way to define it is this: whether you have the ability to look at how strange the world really is and, instead of ignoring it as a joke, at least pause and take a closer look.
Recently, the U.S. government publicly released documents revealing that human trafficking had taken place on a certain island in the United States, and that many presidents and celebrities had visited it. Following these disclosures, there were reports that Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom was stripped of his royal titles.
According to these documents, the contents included not only assaults against minors, but also acts such as ritualistic cannibalism. Even when confronted with news like this, I imagine there are many people who still think, “There’s no way that can be true,” and choose not to believe it.
The reason we feel that “something like that couldn’t possibly happen” is because we ourselves possess a basic sense of good and evil as human beings. But if there were individuals who held more money and power than an entire nation, it wouldn’t be surprising if they could obtain anything in this world and commit crimes without ever getting caught.
From a spiritual perspective, money in the past existed as gold or materials of equivalent value—something that carried power and living energy. Today, however, it has transformed into currency and cryptocurrency, mere mediums that hold no energetic value at all, in other words, something dead. So those people with power perform ritualistic acts that humans would consider evil or brutal in order to raise their luck, gather more power, and acquire even greater influence. They routinely do the exact opposite of what is practiced in shrine visits or church masses.
It feels as though the truth of the world is profoundly distorted, occult in nature and filled with a level of cruelty that ordinary people cannot comprehend.
There is a saying that one reaps what one sows, but if someone’s actions were unimaginably dark, it may be that they instead come to possess a kind of demonic power.
